Friendsgiving for College Students

Not every student gets to go home for the holidays—so let’s bring the warmth of home to them! Join us for a cozy, joy-filled Friendsgiving where college students can relax, eat well, and feel loved.
Join members from Ford’s Chapel, Holmes Street, Huntsville First, Lakeside, and Lakewood UMCs in blessing college students from UAH and AAMU with a home-cooked meal on November 29. Come for the meal or just drop off! Thanks to Lakewood UMC for hosting!
Details:
- Saturday November 29th
- Set up from 10am-noon.
- Meal and games or football on the big screen from noon-3pm.
- Clean up from 3-4:30pm
How You Can Help:
We’re looking for volunteers to bring dishes and spend time with students who are staying local this Thanksgiving. Whether you’re a casserole queen, a dessert dynamo, or just great at making people feel welcome—there’s a place for you at the table.
