SUMMARY:Annual Conference Learn & Lead Workshops
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 North Alabama Annual Conference will kick off with an opportunity for all church leaders to participate in Learn & Lead workshops. \n\n\n\nOn Thursday\, there will be three different sessions featuring a variety of engaging workshops offering practical ministry ideas. You will hear success stories from North Alabama congregations and learn from resource people who will present on different topics that will help grow and strengthen ministry in your church’s context. \n\n\n\nThe Learn & Lead Workshops are open to all North Alabama United Methodists\, not just Annual Conference attendees. We encourage multiple members from each congregation to participate so your congregation can collectively benefit from the wealth of knowledge shared. \n\n\n\nPlanned Workshops\n\n\n\n\nFirst Time Lay Members of Annual Conference Orientation and Equipping Session\n\n\n\nDisciples in the Market Place (led by David C. SUMMARY:Journey of Ministry Celebration
DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for the North Alabama Conference’s Journey of Ministry Celebration\, a special worship service that includes Ordination\, Commissioning\, Licensing\, and Memorial Services. \n\n\n\nThis year\, we are especially grateful to celebrate Rev. Katie Dobbins\, whose ministry once blessed Ford’s Chapel and continues to impact the church and community. We rejoice with her as she reaches this meaningful milestone in her calling. \n\n\n\nAs a special treat\, Bishop L. Jonathan Holston will be preaching at this service. \n\n\n\nIf you plan to attend\, several members of our congregation may be interested in carpooling from the Huntsville/Harvest area. Please reach out if you’d like to ride together. \n\n\n\nJoin us in praying for Katie and for all those being ordained\, commissioned\, and licensed as they continue their journey in ministry.
